Scott Lascelles

Scott Lascelles is the chief marketing officer at Springleaf Financial Services. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. In his current role, Mr. Lascelles is responsible for direct marketing acquisitions, branch marketing, advertising, social media, market research, creative, and development of the Springleaf Financial credit education community.

Prior to joining Springleaf Financial, Mr. Lascelles served as senior vice president, retail risk management at PNC Financial Services, where he led his team to develop and implement a single acquisitions and originations credit decision platform, pre-approval database with branch pre-screen capability and analytic infrastructure across all products.

Mr. Lascelles formerly served as senior director of marketing at Barclays, a British multinational banking and financial services company. While at Barclays, Mr. Lascelles led a team that managed new accounts and customer lifecycle marketing programs for the Barclaycard U.S. credit card portfolio, and supported development and execution of customer marketing programs.

He previously served as a marketing director for JPMorgan Chase, where he developed the credit card product and launch strategy for a joint venture credit card in China prior to the 2008 Olympics as well as various other loyalty marketing roles.  In a prior role at American Express, serving as a Senior Director, Mr. Lascelles managed charge card modeling and analysis.  

Mr. Lascelles holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and a master’s degree in applied statistics from the University of Vermont, and serves on the board of the Mary Campbell Center in Wilmington, Del.
